The minimum basic pay was raised to Rs. 18000 per month under the recommendations of the Pay Commission 7th. The minimum salary is expected to be about 26000 – 34000 per month under the Pay Commission 8th.

The increase in the salary of government employees through these new levels will enhance the economic status of government employees and will ultimately result in an overall increase in the amount of money earned.

Allowance Revision Expected
