Legal Rights as a Worker

Work Within 15 Days: Once you demand work, the government must provide it within 15 days.

Unemployment Allowance: If the government fails to give you work within those 15 days, they must pay you an unemployment allowance in cash.

Work Near Home: Work must be provided within a 5 km radius of your village. If it’s further away, you are entitled to a 10% extra travel allowance.

Timely Payment: You must be paid within 15 days of finishing a work week. If the delay occurs, you can claim delay compensation (0.05% of the amount of unpaid wages for each day).
