Every month, government health facilities across India offer free ANC services through the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, which is scheduled for the 9th of each month. How to Avail PMSMA Services

On the ninth of any month, go to an outpatient clinic (O.P.C.) at your local government-run health agency (i.e., Community Health Center (C.H.C.) or Primary Health Center (P.H.C.)). You can access special antenatal clinics under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (P.M.S.M.A.) on this date.
Please take your pregnancy registration card or Mother/Child Protection (M.C.P.) card to expedite doctors’ review of your medical history.
Register at a P.M.S.M.A.-Help Desk or outpatient registration counter of the health facility for your first visit. Staff will assist first-time visitors in registering with the health facility.
Get a complete physical exam, with blood pressure checks and any necessary blood and urine tests, and additional tests based on your physician's recommendations.
If you are determined to be at high risk, you'll receive counselling on how to proceed, referrals to higher-level facilities if needed, and any other assistance required.
You will incur no registration fees or service fees because all testing, consultations, and essential medications are included in the program at all government health facilities.
